"Step into Room 18 , although signed , is a bit precarious if you are unsteady on your feet . Light switch to bathroom kept falling off . Breakfast , although nice , is overpriced . Location is very convenient for city Centre . "

"Very friendly and accommodating staff. Hotel is in a great location just outside the bustle of the centre but close enough to be accessible on foot. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Parking very convenient as well. Tried only a couple of side dishes from the restaurant and they were of high quality. Coffee shop and a few shops / restaurants just across the street."

"Really excellent location for exploring Oxford and the room had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was excellent with a range of hot options and continental. Would definitely stay again. "

"Room was far too hot-top floor and heating pumping out with no way to turn down. Small fan in room not up to job of cooling sufficiently. Bar /food not open. Disappointing for a Mercure hotel. Staff apologetic but unable to solve issue."
