"Check in: friendly and efficient. The room: clean and adequate. However… The main reason we stayed was for the pools. This was where my review goes down hill. There are five pools: The lap pool - Small The Hot Springs Pools: All Ages Pool - I didn’t bother going in as it was packed. Adults Only Pool - noisy and crowded. For a hot springs - the temperature was tepid at best. There were patios to hotel rooms just off the pool (almost like cabanas). Loud music was being played by the occupants - not relaxing at all. Then there were the two indoor pools. The signage on the building read “Quiet Zone”. The signage in the building reminded patrons that this area was for quiet contemplation. Ha! It was full of loud families. Tossing of balls. Swim races. Hooting and hollering. At one time, an adult and young teen decided to start a swim race. The teen paid no mind that I was less than two feet away and started to swim directly at me. I actually had to push him away. The water was poorly filtered. I found long hairs entangled in my fingers. Yuck! There are no lifeguards or other attendants providing any oversight. I find the public swimming pool at home more relaxing with its adjacent hot tub and steam room. Never again"

"There was nothing to like about this trip to this hotel. I was going with my nine-year-old granddaughter, and there was outlet covers missing, electrical issues, a damaged tub that she got hurt on. No lights, there was one lamp in the whole room and we had to move it around, with the electrical issues. It was a horrible visit, and the manager was supposed to call us back, it’s been over a month and I haven’t heard from him after two or three phone calls. Do not ever stay in room 204, especially with children."

"Well we had such a great experience here. I have travelled a lot & have stayed in many hotels, so I do have many experiences with which to compare with. From the moment we arrived we were extremely impressed. Douglas at the front desk was so accommodating & professional. He got us checked in & settled in virtually no time. He went over & above & we were very appreciative of that. If you are on a diet, this may be a challenging place for you. They have a plethora of freshly baked & might I say, decadent cookies awaiting your arrival & they don’t bat an eye if you come back for more. The room was very clean & welcoming. Anything we needed was right at our fingertips. The wifi worked perfectly and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was also very tasty. We were there for 2 days & so we saw 2 different services. The first day was scrambled eggs, sausages & hash browns. The second day was omelettes, bacon & French toast strips. They also had toast and bagels & muffins and yogurt and fruit. The usual coffee and juice options. Our server Karen was also very friendly and helpful. Bit, the thing we thought was different was in the waffles. Many hotels provide freshly made waffles. However, not everyone wants a big waffle. So they provide 2 different machines. One makes a large waffle, the other makes 2 smaller ones. They also had 2 flavours of batter which we also thought was cool. I really don’t have anything negative to say here. It was a delightful stay."
