"Our room with a view was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay, including thoughtful extras such as an iron and ironing board. The bed was comfortable, and the room provided a relaxing retreat after busy days exploring the city. We ate in the hotel bar on a couple of occasions and were impressed by both the service and the food. Service was prompt and friendly, and the portions were generous without compromising on quality. Parking is conveniently located directly at the hotel, making arrival and departure very easy, particularly if you have luggage. It's worth noting that parking costs £20 per day (a useful benefit is that guests may leave their car in the car park until 3 pm on the day of departure, despite checkout being at 11 am). There are less expensive parking options in the city centre, but these may be less convenient if you do not want to carry luggage through town. The hotel's location is one of its greatest strengths. Situated right by the waterfront, it is ideally placed for Liverpool's harbour, museums and other historical and cultural attractions. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. A comfortable hotel, excellent staff, great location and very good service make this an easy recommendation for anyone visiting Liverpool."

"Daniel on the front desk was amazing, there was also a young lady who helped us with our air conditioning as we were having problems, she then went out of her way to bring us a fan and a bucket of ice for our drinks. The staff are fantastic and nothing is too much for them. Daniel had me in stitches, absolutely cracking personality."

"The Dolby Hotel was great value, a much better price than other places in the city, especially as the price we paid included parking and breakfast. The location was great, with tables with views overlooking the docks. The room itself was compact, but the beds were comfortable, and it was clean. The room was quite quiet, as we'd requested a room away from the road. The bathroom was tiny, like in a cabin on a boat. It wouldn't suit anyone large or anyone with mobility issues, as there was a step up, and then down, into the bathroom. The breakfast was plentiful, and decent quality. All the staff were really friendly and helpful."

"Terrible. Will not be returning. Our room was tired, needing maintenance, dirty carpets, beds felt unclean, bathroom was disgusting - old, mould, we had silver fish running around. Our friends checked in and found a vomit stain on the carpet in their room and mould in the bathroom. Reception did switch the room for them upon reporting but overall the feeling was that this hotel needs a good clean and some maintenance to be brought up to standard again."

"Amazing hotel food in the restaurant was beautiful and lovely experience and nice to see the hotel in such great shape. The spa facilities were great and easy to access and very clean. I would like to especially mention the bar and restaurant staff who worked in the evening who were so so plesent and welcoming making everyone in the resturant enjoy there time. Once again such a great experience."
