"I love this hotel. I always try and stay here if I can when I visit Liverpool. It's close enough to the centre and yet, far enough away. It has lots of amenities and is overall a lovely place to stay.
The staff are friendly, approachable and helpful. I was chatting a bit to the staff because I was traveling solo.
It's always clean and tidy.
The room has two single beds put together (if you book a double room opposed to a twin room) so the bed is huge and comfy. The walk in, waterfall shower is one of my favourite amenities.
I ate breakfast here, it's a buffet breakfast with all sorts. Cooked/continental/cheese and meat/juices, tea, coffee, water. It was a nice breakfast and the environment is quite calming.
The prices of bar menu/drinks are - in some cases - really quite steep. That is my only criticism. My margarita cocktail was £14.90 🙈
However, the checkout time here, is 12pm. When a lot of hotels are between 10-11 and make you pay extra for late check out for it to be 12pm.
I checked out early, but they label and store your suitcase for you, to pick up later, if you want to go out without lugging round a suitcase. This is very helpful."
