"I love this hotel. I always try and stay here if I can when I visit Liverpool. It's close enough to the centre and yet, far enough away. It has lots of amenities and is overall a lovely place to stay. The staff are friendly, approachable and helpful. I was chatting a bit to the staff because I was traveling solo. It's always clean and tidy. The room has two single beds put together (if you book a double room opposed to a twin room) so the bed is huge and comfy. The walk in, waterfall shower is one of my favourite amenities. I ate breakfast here, it's a buffet breakfast with all sorts. Cooked/continental/cheese and meat/juices, tea, coffee, water. It was a nice breakfast and the environment is quite calming. The prices of bar menu/drinks are - in some cases - really quite steep. That is my only criticism. My margarita cocktail was £14.90 🙈 However, the checkout time here, is 12pm. When a lot of hotels are between 10-11 and make you pay extra for late check out for it to be 12pm. I checked out early, but they label and store your suitcase for you, to pick up later, if you want to go out without lugging round a suitcase. This is very helpful."

"Set in beautiful surroundings with safe parking and top notch health and fitness suite. Easy access from M56 and close to all amenities including two golf course and super sports. Clubs. Hotel room was very modern and stylish,clean, welcoming and with good wifi and internet tv. Highly recommend for a reasonable weekend rate."

"Nice hotel within walking distance of the train station and town centre. Large room..which would benefit from a set of drawers though! Shower pressure wasn't great but overall we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was nice but no pastries etc...if you didn't want a cooked one there wasn't much else. Good value...quiet location....we were glad not to be in the city centre on a Saturday night! Pool was lovely after a day of shopping."

"Lovely hotel with extremely comfortable beds and clean facilities. Slightly let down by the chaotic scenes trying to get a coffee at the breakfast buffet. Machine both days either running out of milk or needing to empty the discarded ground coffee, resulting in long queues and puzzled customers. The delicious granola I had on the first day wasn’t available on the second day which was disappointing. Overall a good hotel that could improve the breakfast experience with more attention to detail."

"The hotel is comfortable,food was very good and reasonably priced. Room was clean and serviced each day. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good parking and hotel is close to Liverpool attractions so no need to use the car after we arrived The only criticism is the shower and toilet is very small and no wardrobe to hang clothes, but apart from that very good and we will go there again."

"Unfortunately my experience in room 414 last night was not good, there was an annoing continuous sound all night up above the room( not the air conditioning unit ss this was off) also the bed was unsteady. Each time my husband or i moved it disturbed the other person. This resulted in myself not having a good nights rest . Shame as all previous visits to the Grosvenor have been amazing ."
