"Lovely clean room overlooking the docks and Mersey, comfortable bed, good choice for breakfast, very helpful staff and good knowledge for people with special dietary needs. Restaurant open for evening meals but we didn’t use it during our stay. Parking was free and plenty of spaces, location very good for sightseeing, cafes and shopping centre all within easy walking distance. Good local transport within walking distance, train station in the centre of the city.
Only one little niggle was that the bathroom was very small which is unusual for me to say as I’m not a very big person but it was smaller than some caravan bathrooms not sure if that is the same in all rooms. Would benefit it if it had another towel rail under the sink for the hand towel."
