"One of the best we've stayed in."

"We stayed in the cottage at Tovey Lodge. It was very dated, which was fine, but it was also worn out. The sofa bed needs replacing due to peeling material and the mattress on this was so thin there is no way an adult could sleep on there. Luckily our 7 year old can sleep anywhere. The main bed was uncomfortable with a too small mattress topper which didn't reach the edges and because of this we only stayed for two of the three nights we had booked as we needed sleep. "This is a well equipped cottage which is in a rural position on the edge of the town, accessed by a short but unlit lane. It is a 15 minute walk into the High Street and there are plenty of countryside walks from the doorstep."

"We loved our stay here. The property was comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed, but the location is really what it is all about! Fabulous sea and cliff views, great walking, and a perfect spot to explore the Seven Sisters. We were staying to run the Beachy Head marathon nearby but would happily return to explore the area more.
