"One thing that stood out was how friendly the staff were, the reception, restaurant and housekeeping staff always greeted you with a smile and a chat. Room was clean on arrival so no complaints there. Only downsides was that the rooms are on the small side, not much room to move about in, also, being wakened up in the early hours by a delivery vehicle right outside our window wasn’t ideal. Overall, an enjoyable stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again but would request a loch view room next time."

"This was our second stay at Lomond Castle and just as impressive as the first. The apartment is perfect for a couple, with a very comfy and spacious bed, good shower (and bath), well equipped kitchen and a lovely living room space to relax in. Being right next to the Loch means that you wake up to a beautiful view each day, and the location is perfect for exploring. Overall, perfect for a short stay, and we will certainly be back again in the future."

"A great find for a family get together. The cottage was well positioned for exploring the area. It had everything you would need, and more. We visited the sea life centre and a booked the spa at the Lodge on Loch Lomond. A beautiful area and so peaceful . I’m not sure why the hot tub water needs checking every day as we had to get out of it one morning to allow for the testing having only just got in !"

"Much as the location and the stunning views are all plus points of the property, I felt some basics could be much better. Instructions of various living do's and dont's, within the property were not available, particularly, with regards to operation of heating controls. important during winter stays.The quality of bedding in both bedrooms was very poor and the 'double bed' in the second bedroom was awful!! it was disappointing the nice 'looking' fire place in the lounge was only a decorative item. Doesn't even light up. This turned a potentially, snug and nice lounge area in a cold winters evening, into a cold and depressing one. Cooking utensils such as pots and pans could be improved."
