"It's a quiet place in the vicinity of liberty plaza and Gangaramaya in Colombo. In the beginning was having doubts till I went in and spoke to the owner. Friendly and Helpful staff. Comfortable dorms and with Bunk beds. For the price can't complain at all. Overall I'm happy. Not disable friendly. Definitely recommend."

"The hostel is in a great location, close to the train station and lots of great places to eat nearby. But that's the only strong point. Everything else is average at best. The place needs renovation, WiFi doesn't work, cleaning in the shared bathrooms could be improved. But the location is great. So if you are looking for 1 night near the station - this would do."

"I showed up and they told me I hadn’t booked. I showed them my hotels.com confirmation email and receipt. They said they never received the payment even though I had the receipt. They then made me pay for a full room which ended up costing more than what the room I booked online was. I also had bed bugs bite my legs during the stay. "

"On a adoré notre séjour à Anam Hôtel ! On y a passé 10 jours. On a pu se reposer. L’hôtel se situe à quelques mètres de la plage, où on peut y voir des magnifiques coucher de soleil le soir. Le personnel de l’hôtel est juste super super gentil. Il y a une cuisine que l’on peut utiliser, mais aussi une machine à laver dont on peut se servir. Allez-y les yeux fermés, vous ne regretterez rien."

"I booked Olu Based on the reasonable price and great reviews. I wasn’t disappointed. The family were wonderfully friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived, the 2 family dogs are a lovely touch for animal lovers and the villa is clean and quiet with great WiFi. Great hot water in the showers and a wonderful Sri Lankan breakfast is available on request. Would definitely stay again when back in Colombo."

"We came here straight from a long flight from the UK and had 3 nights with our 3 children age 6, 8 and 11... And it was incredible! I wish we could have stayed here longer and as soon as we were there, we stated to think about when we could come back! There was so much space in the villa, the kids loved the pool, the beach was epic and so quiet.... And the care and attention of he staff, chef and security is on another level! It is the perfect location to come with a family, and we would love to...
