"Lovely hotel, our room looked onto the Victoria Quays and had a balcony. Bed super comfortable, well appointed bathroom, great shower, nice toiletries. Leggero nespresso coffee machine, kettle, hair dryer. Adjustable rainbow colours around bed head is a nice touch. Breakfast in the Tavern is fab, friendly and helpful staff, nice bar, 15 mins walk to the Crucible, much of the way is newly paved, pedestrianised path with wild flowers and outdoor seats. Outdoor carpark on site costs £10 per day. Gym, sauna, lovely pool and spa available. We hope to be back soon. "

"The entire complex was immaculately clean and fresh. The staff were welcoming on arrival and during our stay. The facilities are exceptional as was the breakfast, more than adequate and food quality was superb. The only (very) minor negatives are: The car park is not clearly displayed as being for patrons of the hotel leading to some confusion on arrival. The sofa bed I slept on was as hard as a rock, not very comfortable to be perfectly honest. However, on the whole, an exceptionally good hotel which I would stay in again."

Village Hotel Nottingham

"Overall the room of the hotel was clean and tidy, however there is no air conditioning in the room. With the current summer weather it was quite hot and stuffy in the room. The restaurant food was good and reasonably priced. Parking was difficult but I managed to find a parking space, but it was pretty busy as a car park. Staff on entry were really friendly and helpful. I didn't use the spa or the swimming pool facilities so I can't comment on that"

"Convenient location close to M1 (but not too close). Great car park (with several EV chargers) surrounded by trees. Huge reception with comfy sofas. Great check in by polite and efficient staff. Good size room with masculine decor. A little worn around the edges but very clean. The extremely firm bed suited us. We liked the views from the 4th floor (there were lifts). We used the hotel to break a long journey. The restaurant was slightly pricey, but our food was good. We didn’t stay for breakfast."

"This hotel really did represent value for money on a weekend where the city was busy due to a famous comedian performing. The hotel is central and only a five minute walk from the train station. Staff helpful, communal spaces lovely for a drink in the evening. Room was roomy shower powerful with lovely toiletries provided - only one bath towel provided for 2 of us but that will have been an oversight and guess what we coped. The breakfast was ok I had to ask for more bread which then was provided, not a great selection of fresh fruit to go with yogurt but yet again we coped don’t know if that represented value for money. However the setting is nice. Would stay here again."

"Excellent value for money. The place is clean and the beds/bedding comfortable. The shower is comparable with the ones at the Hilton - seriously! Only a few minutes walk to our favourite venue in Sheffield (KAPITAL). Big 10/10 from us"
