"I’ve stayed at other H10 properties that I liked better. The pool on the roof was great but it is very slippery. The hotel is a bit older now so rooms are run down a bit more than expected compared to some other H10s I’ve stayed. Location is very central and easy but a bit difficult for taxis to get to to pick up and drop off in traffic. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lobby is very nice."

"We highly enjoyed our 3-night stay. The location is terrific. It is on the main street through the Gothic Quarter and easy walking distance to all of that area and beyond, with shopping, restaurants, bars and more all right there. There also is a metro stop right across the street. The pool and roof-top terrace are terrific. Be sure to go up to enjoy the lovely views across the city, from Montjuic to Sagrada Familia. "The Casanova is a really lovely hotel. It is a cool oasis of calm, close to the centre of the city. Our rooms were classy, and had fantastic views of the street. Very quiet with the windows closed at night, too! We had breakfast each day, where the staff were friendly and professional, and the food delicious. A good selection of cereals, fruit, cheese, ham, bread and cooked items. Nice coffee too! We would gladly return!"
