"Marco is the friendliest and amusing host. He gave us a warm welcome and lots of good advice re our short visit to Palermo. The hotel is in a great location, was good value and served a very nice breakfast. A good experience all round and would definitely recommend this hotel as very convenient for getting around Palermo."

"Cute rooms with a private bathroom in the hallway. Easy self check-in, and ditto check out. Some might be bothered about the noise level depending on how loud other guests are - you can hear everything:) The location is great and the area felt safe."

"A perfect location with attentive and knowledgeable staff. The air conditioning and quiet windows were a welcome treat. I loved that there were always fruit and treats on offer in addition to a wonderful breakfast. The food recommendations were all fantastic. An exceptional place to stay. "

"We stayed at Mondello Martini as part of a family vacation to Sicily. Hostess Amanda was very helpful and spoke English well. The room was very large by European standards, with a king size bed in one room and a twin bed bunk in a semi-private alcove. Bathroom facilities were super clean and modern. "The name of the hotel says it all, Grand. From the second you walk in you can feel the history and the elegance. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make sure that my last two days in Sicily were perfect. Whether it was booking us a dinner reservation or bringing a complementary cake to my room for my girlfriend’s birthday they truly showed every bit of Italian hospitality. The rooms are phenomenal with huge showers and lots of natural light. We also ate at the restaurant here which was top three meals of our 2 week trip. Hope to be back soon. "
