Easy walking down and cheap uber tuk tuk ride back up the hill after leaving city center. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Kandy."

"Umesh and Danushka of Clove Villa made our stay above and beyond what we were expecting. This was one of the best accommodations on our 2 week trip to Sri Lanka with rooms and villa hotel decorated beautifully with a fantastic peaceful pool area. The unexpected surprise were the meals as we found out Umesh was a chef who prepared the best meals we experienced on this trip. "We had always wanted to stay on a Tea Estate in the hills and this did not disappoint. A great tour of the estate was arranged either the Tea Estate Manager and was an excellent insight into how tea is grown and picked. Great views from the veranda. Staff most helpful."

"Beautiful location, really lovely rooms and the staff simply can not do enough for you. The location is a bit outside of kandy about 10 to 15 minute tuk tuk ride but the prices for food and drinks are very good value and the view is amazing so we only ventured out at night once over our 3 nights. "
