"The common rooms were very spacious. Kitchen was well-equipped. Three distinct bedroom areas made it perfect for our group. Views were wonderful. Water access is limited at low tides. Very private and quiet location."

"Beautiful, clean home with everything you would need for a Maine vacation. The new dock is amazing and a lovely place to hang out with a book on a sunny day. The kitchen is stocked with every appliance and utensil you might need. We have stayed in this home multiple years and have always had a lovely visit."

"Back home today and missing Cove Cottage terribly! We almost didn’t make it this year due to medical reasons and a particularly tough past year, but we are SO HAPPY that we did. It was just what we needed to reset and reconnect after a challenging year.I was very comfortable in the downstairs bedroom while my daughter took the upstairs. We enjoyed connecting with my dear high school classmate who lives and works in the area, kayaking, walking the grounds of the Olson House in Cushing, cooking meals at home, and eating delicious seafood out.I found myself gravitating back to the big rock overlooking the cove for my morning meditations, while my daughter rested and wrote in the hammock. After one hot, long paddle in the tandem kayak we rented, we both jumped into the cove for a brief, icy-but-refreshing swim. These beautiful summer memories, made here, are ones we will always treasure.Vanessa and Paul are absolutely the best hosts. They are there if you need them, responsive to communication, and yet maintain such a respectful distance that you feel as though you have this magical place all to yourself.We cannot thank you enough for renting to us again. Cove Cottage gave us exactly the reset we needed, and we are already missing it. Vanessa and Paul, we wish you both a very happy and healthy year ahead!"
Mid-coast Dream- Beautiful Oceanfront home with spectacular views!

"We LOVED staying at this property! Our family of 4, 2 adults 2 kids (7&10) had everything we could possibly need here. This home was very clearly someone's well loved and well cared for home and still holds the touches of life lived in it. When you see that, you can't help but want to preserve and protect the home with that same love. So, omg, please use the coasters.I always appreciate a rental that has the little things that you don't want to buy a ton of on vacation (i.e. Tupperware or one piece of foil or even stain remover.) and this home has all of those little bits and bobbles which made our stay stress free and convenient. The kitchen was fully stocked and had anything you could need. The downstairs playroom was great for the kids with lots of games and puzzles and a great drafting table for them to color at. The style of the house is super cool. So open and breathable for a cozy Maine property. The water view is wonderful and access to the little beach is easy. The kids had a great time just playing on the property making fairy gardens and looking for sea glass. It's super close to town, so the general store and Wharfside coffee (a must!) are walkable. We stayed for 2 weeks, and during that time encountered some bugs in the house (ants and spiders in the bathrooms and bedrooms) but I find this to be a standard part of life in a coastal wooded area and would not consider it an unreasonable amount. Stephanie was easy to get ahold of and easy to communicate with."

"The inn is located on a true working harbor. Many boats were in the harbor and it was breathtaking to view them from the inn’s porch. The food was delicious!"

"The cottage was as advertised mostly. The view of the water was a tiny little slice between two houses, you could just see a little water at high tide.The cottage was clean and comfortable . The house manager was very helpful and always available. The owner was not very helpful and not particularly pleasant. We had constant issues with the internet.Couldn't stream movies without a lot of buffering., trying to be on a computer for work purposes was almost impossible and very inconvenient. When we reached out to the owner, he told us no-one had ever had a problem. That was his response whenever there was an issue about anything. This was not a welcome exchange or a helpful one. Hopefully a booster will be added to the internet situation before the next guest arrives. The router and modem are in the owners house. The hot water tank is small so you need to stagger bathing if you want it hot and are more than 1 person.Other than that, the cottage is as advertised, nicely decorated and conveniently located. The lack of air conditioner was not a problem as there are very efficient ceiling fans."

"Terrific house for seven adults. Well stocked kitchen, and the porch was wonderful . Nice woodsy setting in quaint Tenant’s Harbor. Ramp made it easily accessible for my father. Loved exploring Maine’s mid coast from our home base! Thanks for a great extended family vacation!"

"Cardij was very very clean.The view was excellent, Seems like each time you looked out towards the ocean the view changed.Support was excellent. Only needed support once for check in advice.Only one complaint, traffic noise, all day and night. But that can't be helped. Great time! Would do again."
