"Lovely hotel in great location. Our room was good, the top bunk was really high with no bottom end bar and low side bars and not suitable for a younger child, our 10 year was even nervous about it. Room & all areas were really clean. Reception staff helpful. Breakfast was fab, definitely worth adding it on. "

"Beautiful property. Loved the polite and helpful staff and the charming property. Can’t beat the location. The only suggestions for improvement are related to the bathrooms in the rooms. The glass doors would be much better if they were solid doors that provided more privacy and sound containment. It’s impossible not to hear running water etc. Also, the towels were very thin, small, and worn. "

"We had a trouble and it was nightmare to find the location GPS took us to a surreal haunted place where the building could not match the description of the building what we booked. It was 8 pm and when I tried to call at the number it said, it is not in use. although time to contact these people was until 10pm. A local tourist helped us to find the way out. Flat and property was overall clean but too much hassle to find it."

"The hotel was comfortable and charming. We were greeted with a glass of cava and extremely professional and friendly staff. Breakfasts were served with the possibility of eating fruit salad, bacon and eggs, various breads and cheeses and latte’s or other coffees and teas. Best of all we were offered cava for breakfast. "We booked last minute after an issue with our original accommodation. When we arrived the door was locked and nobody answered the phone for about 30 mins. When they finally answered we were told that the hotel didn’t work with hotels.com, but that they could provide a room for cash. I said that we wouldn’t be paying again at which point the owner became very rude and hung up the phone. Ended up staying at the lovely Hotel Rosenburg. Avoid Hotel Cavalier at all costs!!!"

"Having staying there last year, we had the coldest two days of the year, the property had no heating or hot water. A heater was not provided. (issue) no reception to speak too. Hey ho, we decided to stay again, knowing that problems do arise. We were staying this time for 4 days 3 nights. we had no kettle, iron. cups ect, The tv was not working, and we could not get to speak to anybody, the reception was closed. we sent an email to the booking company to pass to the hotel, with NO reply. Would we stay again. ????? would you. "
