"Michelle was extremely responsive, extremely welcoming. The rental was very well stocked (as a condo owner who rents out, I am very critical of places I go). I am forever impressed. We saw whales swim by, absolutely stunning scenery and sun sets... Highly recommend!"

"It had the most amazing view!! My only suggestion would be to buy groceries before you get on the island because the grocery store is very expensive and everywhere you can order a meal is either closed very early or only open a couple days a week. Beautiful place though and Lynne was amazing! Loved staying at Orca Lodge."

"The apartment is spacious and clean. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes and appliances for a short stay. The TV is an appropriate size for the apartment and the closet has ample space. We prefer firm mattresses and pillows and found the ones there a bit soft. Counter top space in the bathroom is limited. There is an abundance of towels though the large bath towels are made of a not very absorbent fabric. The dining table was rather small and the chairs were old and the upholstery needed cleaning. The apartment is well located in a quiet spot and the boardwalk takes you right into the commercial area. When the weather is nice, you can admire the lovely view from the bedroom. The provision of a key code to open and lock the door is convenient. The island is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay."

"Room was perfect and great view of the marina and local bear who mostly ignored all the onlookers. Restaurant open and we had a great dinner last night. Communication easy self check in and out. The lockbox right beside door & parking right out front. No issues, kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you, would stay again."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better home base to explore North Vancouver Island. The property was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. It was the perfect place to relax after days spent exploring the area.The location was peaceful, the views were beautiful, and we especially appreciated the chance to slow down and enjoy the incredible scenery that makes Port McNeill so special. Communication with Ray was excellent from start to finish, friendly, responsive, and genuinely welcoming. Some advice preload the lock box code as there is zero reception. This stay became a special part of our family’s memories as we shared this adventure with my parents during their cross-Canada journey. Thank you, Ray, for your hospitality and for providing such a wonderful place to stay. We would happily return and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area."
