"This is a fantastic hotel right in the heart of Cardiff and just a quick walk to so many bars, cafes, shops and the Castle. Our room was so lovely. It had a very funky vibe and was beautiful decorated, clean and comfortable. We loved it! The community lounge and deck was also a great addition giving you access to a great hang out area. Hotel is a short five minute walk from Cardiff Central Station and on arrival, check in was effortless with reception staff explaining all the important amenities and services well, was in no doubt where and what was available during our visit. Breakfast service was first class and we also enjoyed the evening Wellington Experience menu in the Shorting Room Restaurant which definitely lived up to our expectation, from the welcome and seating,...

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Having a the convenience of the kitchen in the room meant I wasn't reliant on a restaurant or takeaway for sustenance, which made a pleasant change. The room was very clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and furnishing and good Wi-Fi and vey quiet. The parking was convenient but a bit limited. The surroundings were quite nice being close to the docks, but it was clear to see that there is still some development going on in the areas around the hotel."

"The room with a bunk bed has a very flimsy glass door. When you sit on the toilet, you touch the door with your leg. The room is not silent, you can hear noise from other rooms. No shower curtain so the bathroom was drenched after using the shower"

"The hotel was very nice, parking was simple. And the location was very good - the city centre was on the door step. There was Browns bar and restaurant in the hotel, and this was very good. Nice place if you wish to soak up the city centre atmosphere."

The room was modern but could have used a deep clean. Hallways were very noisy due to a family in the neighbouring room (otherwise would probably not have been a problem). Onsite laundry room was not as described in the listing - only one washer/drier and no air dryers on loan and the room was not secured (lock broken). The building...

"The room was clean and convenient to the downtown area, the castle and the train. The hot water was wonderful. The bed was a little uncomfortable and we felt the air was a little stuffy and warm but we are Americans used to air conditioning. They did provide a fan which was helpful. The price was very reasonable and staff were helpful. Even with a lift, you will have some stairs. Breakfast was very good."

"I liked that the hotel was very close to the Cardeff Central Station. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Also, a lot of the things to do, and places to see were within walking distance. The accommodation while comfortable could use a little updating. I will stay there again."
