"Nice to get in a few minutes earlier than usual. The motel was freshly painted inside and had an air conditioner/heat pump plus new looking carpet. The tap over the basin indicated H and C but the water temperature was opposite to the direction indicated (and usual). We thought there was no hot water only to find out later the shower was marvellous - hot as you wanted and excellent flow. The restaurant is average."

"We had a late check in which was easy to manage and find our room. The accommodation was quite spacious, and provided a private car port. Beds were fine, as with the living area. However, we found some of the items in the kitchen weren't quite clean, and with a property this size, it'd be nice to also have a washing machine and dryer too."

"We stayed overnight but we would love to come back some time and try the trout fishing. The lodge is on the river and as I walked past I could see large trout swimming. The gardens are stunning. Our chalet was very quiet, comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed an excellent dinner and breakfast here. The service was excellent. I would highly recommend staying here. "
