    Quiet new A/C heats the whole cottage, full kitchen, free fast unlimited WIFI, all linen, comfortable pillow top & pocket sprung beds, BBQ grill & outdoor dining on the deck with lovely rural views. E/V charging, bathroom. Warm and cosy. Washing machine & dryer access (fee).


    2 bedrooms, sleeps max 5 (including infants). Children welcome. No charge for infants (<2 years), cot or high chair. Trampoline, swings, big yard and toys for kids.


    Flexible cancellation policy, extra sanitation cleaning protocols.
    Picturesque countryside, mountain and berry farm views, cattle and friendly chickens.


    Free & safe off street parking. Security cameras.


    Right next door to the best fresh picking raspberries, boysenberries, blackberries and fruit ice creams! 5 mins to pick blueberries. The cottage sits on our rural & peaceful family property. Our family home sits adjacent to the cottage, which has its own private and fenced entrance. Shared driveway. Please ask the hosts if you would like to meet the friendly pet chickens or Luna the cat.

We had a great stay at Berry View. The cottage is so nice and well equipped, in a calm and beautiful landscape . The Terrasse is great and we loved the BBQ . Liz and Martyn are very nice hosts and gave us valuable tips on local things to see. Everything went fine and easy-going.

Beautiful setting, we woke up to birds singing and a rabbit hopping around the garden. The beds were comfortable and the pillows felt luxurious. Liz was great at communicating. I would definitely recommend staying there to my friends.

The host was absolutely lovely and did a wonderful job of making us feel welcome, and the gorgeous chickens were very welcome company when we sat out on the deck. The cottage is extremely clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable, and it was great to walk to the berry farm next door to pick some berries and have some fruit icecream. Thanks for ensuring we had a wonderful stay.

Quiet location

We had a great stay here, everything you need as well as some coffee and jam. It was a great location 40 mins from both Hobbiton and Waitomo Caves.

Fantastic rural property

Great, clean and cozy place to stay. Great communication with host and this cottage was perfect for our 1 night stay. We finished at the beach - needed a lovely place to stay for the night before our next day. Beds were comfy and it was quiet.

Even though there was a man there when we arrived, he only confirmed where to find the lock box to get our key. The rooms were very small and the equipment was only adequate. The second day there was no hot water. I read the directions in the book and found the gas bottles to switch them over. The location is very rural, pretty but a long way to stores and restaurants. The driveway is quite narrow.

Right place to stay before Waitomo Caves adventure.

We needed a place within easy drive to our caving adventure the next morning. Berry View Cottage was very clean, cozy, and owner is a very nice person. Thanks for a great stay!
