"Amazing room"

"Great stay at Shakespeare House! Nice clean room and very modern. Great owners who were helpful with recommendations if things to do and providing assistance where needed"

"El Hotel está muy bien ubicado y creo que es el más bonito de la ciudad tiene un muy buen desayuno, aunque ya se ven un poco viejas las instalaciones el gimnasio está en otro Hotel de la misma cadena y deja mucho que desear las vistas que tiene el Hotel son bonitas"

"We enjoyed our stay. The owners are friendly, gracious and helpful. The room was pleasant, the garden was beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious."

"Great staff. Older hotel but very inexpensive. Definitely worth the money. Clean."

"The place conveniently located. Michael at the front desk was very helpful."

"It’s basically a motel with parking next to the room so very noisy in the morning with people leaving."

"Great spot to look out over the water and mountains. A couple of things that weren't so great were: the shower leaked really badly all over the floor and there was no extra drain the the bathroom to catch any of it. Also couldn't use the TV as I think the battery remote was flat. Could turn it on from the TV but couldn't do anything without the remote. It was later at night that we discovered this."

"The room was a suite and was rightly upgraded in terms of space and amenities in room compared to the day before . Cafeteria quality and variety of food were limited however ."

"Simple, clean and in good location"

"街の中心部で、湖畔にも近く、便利です。そして、施設がびっくりするくらい清潔で、よくメンテナンスされています。綺麗だから宿泊者も綺麗に使うという良い循環が作られていました。そして、スタッフのhaymishは洗濯機の使い方をおしえてくれてたり、hospitality が高く、customer centric な対応がとても素晴らしかったです。"

"This was ok. We had to change our plans last minute so had to book late. This was no fuss. Thank you. Heat pump running all night downstairs was a bit distracting. Neighbour's talking on phone outside until 9.30pm annoying but not your fault. Staff issues so we never actually met anyone from there but that was OK. Extensive renovations going on at the moment (Sept 2026)which was a worry at first but it didn't affect us."

"From the moment you click on the website, its premise is based on a lie, for ‘Lakeside Te Anau Accommodation’ it is not! The room is relatively clean, no doubt helped by the bed bug warnings emblazoned on the room walls. It is rather quaint, the room decor and bedspreads reminding me of my great grandma’s place, bless her soul, with warnings about fines for not doing the dishes to an appropriate standard again reminding us of the history of a bygone era. Beware of breaking the rules as you...
