"I love the Valley of Rocks! It's quirky, friendly, unique. PLEASE don't come here expecting posh hotel luxury. You'll be disappointed. No bar, no breakfast. On the evening I arrived there was no hot water (it was kind of fixed - warm water, anyway - the following day); the lift wasn't working; a broken sash cord in my bedroom window meant it didn't open. "Loved the boutique decor and quirky nature of the building. The setting is perfect, right by the waterfront. Parking is a bit of an issue, so don't come back to the hotel until 4 pm, when parking is better ( fewer daytrippers). Bed was hard and pillows were not very comfortable, but that was only my taste. Breakfast was very good with a nice buffet and choices for cold and hot cooked food. "
