"Stayed one night prior to an early morning flight. Clean comfortable accommodation with ample parking. The restaurant provide a wide range of well presented food choices at reasonable prices. The staff were also very welcoming and helpful. This is the first time we have used the Sidcot Arms for a pre flight overnight stay and we certainly intend to use it again. The corridors are also well carpeted, thereby minimising noise from arriving and departing guests"

"A little dated and basic, but was very pleasantly surprised! Enjoyed my spontaneous night here with the dog, staff very kind and helpful. Big cups in the room, with nice biscuits and Yorkshire tea! Very affordable too for the night, would very happily return - given at a services, I didn’t hear the motorway at all! I stayed for convenience, not a ‘need’ and personally for £37 a night, I’d happily go back again!"

"Nice hotel with big rooms but poor lighting to do make up and nowhere in the bathroom to put down a wash bag or make up bag … glass shelf too narrow! Exquisite food. Thank you"

"The bedroom and bathroom were clean and tidy and tastefully decorated. We had booked a double room, the bed was very small, not adequate for two people, in fact when my husband turned over I fell out of the bed. So I am afraid we didn’t feel relaxed and refreshed the next morning. The dining experience was very limited, mainly Chinese food, obviously catered by a Chinese restaurant. The bottle of wine was very expensive, very over priced. Breakfast was good. We felt the host could have been more welcoming and pro-active."
