"This place was just ok for a hotel in India. It’s so far up a mountain that access to outside food and drivers are slim, so you are at the hotel’s mercy for pretty much anything. The balcony was nice and so was the view. No ac in this hotel, and no mosquito nets. There was a really old plug in fan in the room though and it didn’t really fit well with the rest of the room. "Staff were friendly, the WiFi was good, the power shower was nice (when there was hot water) and, best of all, the only bar in town is just across the street. But the room needed a good clean, there was no bottled water or toilet paper and Silent Valley is far from silent. Bring earplugs."
