"I originally booked the Bandera rental for myself and my children, but unfortunately a family emergency came up and they weren’t able to join me. The owners were incredibly kind and understanding and graciously allowed me to come back the following weekend, which I truly appreciated.I ended up spending the weekend solo in the main cabin, and it was exactly the retreat I needed. The setting is peaceful and beautiful—perfect for reading, sitting by the fire, taking in the views, and enjoying some quiet time. In the evenings, I drove into Bandera for dinner, which is only about a 20-minute, very scenic drive from Center Point.The king-size bed was extremely comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to cook my meals. The internet worked perfectly, and I had no trouble streaming on the Roku, though I mostly chose to unplug, read, and enjoy the solitude.This place is a true getaway and a wonderful spot to disconnect and recharge. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for peace, comfort, and a genuine escape."

"Our experience at the cabin was great! Everything was very clean and in excellent condition. Our host, Kathleen, was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin is very cute, and the location is so private and quiet -- it's just what we wanted. We will be back!"
