"Very nice historical property in Taos. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property was clean and very quiet. I was traveling with my dog, and the property was very pet friendly with an easily accessible court yard with bags and trash cans for you to pick up after your pet. "

Upon our early arrival, we were greeted by an exceptionally friendly clerk who made us feel right at home after our long drive from Denver. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and courteous, making our check-in process smooth and enjoyable. The hotel itself was pristine, and our room was a true haven. It featured a wonderful shower that was both refreshing and relaxing, and the mattress was so comfortable that my husband and I slept like rocks throughout our stay. We also truly appreciate that Hotel La Fonda is welcoming to queer visitors and couples, creating an inclusive and friendly atmosphere for everyone. This commitment to diversity made our experience even more special. Overall, our stay at Hotel La Fonda was exceptional, and we can't wait to return to this wonderful property!"

"Very spacious two queen bed rooms on the ground level, with two entrances and patios; one leading to a grassy area behind the hotel and the other in front (semi-private, with nice painting on the adjacent walls. The nicely-landscaped grounds are very well kept, with several games available, There is a decent breakfast with 24 hour coffee in the lobby, cookies at the front desk, and chips and salsa available in the evenings. There is a small swimming pool. This is a comfortable, old-style motel, which I hope will stay as it is for many years to come! "

"We had the best time at Edelweiss Lodge and Spa! We went to Taos Ski Valley to hike to Wheeler Peak. Helen took care of us the entire time, checking on us on our hike and setting up massages while we were hiking down the mountain. The only negative was there was no air conditioning so it was a little warm in our room. Helen did come through though by getting us a fan. Overall, it was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend Edelweiss!"
