Seaside Getaway.

Bright newly renovated and air conditioned self contained suite in our oceanfront home, situated on a quiet cove on renowned Margaret's Bay . It's in a park like setting that people actually drive to for relaxing walks with or without pets . It has your own private resort like deck with a shared 6 person hot tub , covered gazebo. Bring your kayaks or use ours (we never do !) Enjoy a cozy campfire in the outside fireplace ( except during fire ban) with that special someone . Queen suite with a pull out couch for extra guests . Well behaved pets with well trained owers are welcome as we have a very friendly Golden Doodle .Cable TV and wifi on site to keep track of the outside world ....if you want to . ( note ,just purchased a new matress! )

Peaceful gateway

We had an amazing time in this beautiful and peaceful place located right by the ocean. The apartment is very well equipped with wonderful outdoor area, comfortable sitting, fire pit, jacuzzi and hammock. Very nice host and their sweet dog. We highly recommend it.

Beautiful views of St. Margaret's Bay, with private outdoor terrace, in a quiet, wooded neighborhood. The apartment was well-furnished and equipped for two people, convenient to nearby stores, coffee shops and seaside attractions. Helpful live-in hosts and clear directions made the stay easy.

Relaxing getaway.

Very nice relaxing four day getaway. Beautiful view; helpful hosts; nice luxuries including hot tub and kayaks at a reasonable price.

Great location to Peggy cove, Mahoney bay, and Chester all great places to see. Great walking area and just around corner is great bakery. Beautiful views, Good hot tub, lovely dock to watch fish jump or catch a suntan. Lovely hosts

Chris has a beautiful place just outside of Tantallon! Both the sofa bed and bedroom could use new mattress as well as blinds for the living room windows but other than that our stay was fantastic. The view of the bay was spectacular, it was nice to soak in the hot tub each night.

Beautiful suite on the waterfront

Modern and nicely decorated suite with lovely deck, bbq, hammock and hot tub. Overlooking a dock in a quiet cove. Missed having laundry facilities. Really pleased with our stay.

Wonderful area for biking, hiking and water sports. Great apartment right on water with a beautiful patio. Highly recommended. Stunning area, so beautiful.

We really enjoyed our week, so peaceful and relaxing. View is amazing and especially liked the covered seating area on the deck, great for sitting out anytime of the day. Unit is very bright, clean and had everything we needed. Hosts are very friendly and accommodating, responding very quickly to any questions we had. Hoping to have a return stay!

Outstanding, great view and accommodations

We had a great stay at Chris and Stephanie’s VRBO on the water. The one bedroom suite had everything that we were looking for. It was clean, modern and private. It’s proximity to local towns, amenities, recreation and to Peggie’s Cove were great. Thanks Chris and Stephanie! We look forward to our next stay with you and the local blue heron!

Great owners and great central location

The owners were great, if we had any issues they were quick to deal with it. Loved their friendly dog. Great location. Kayaks and hot tub was a bonus. Our only concern was owners live right above the rental and it was a bit loud at times.

Peaceful with a beautiful view

We loved the beautiful location with our own private ocean view deck . The one bdrm suite is airy and spacious and has everything needed to make a decent meal if you’re not too ambitious. The bedding and towels are all nice, and the mattress is very comfy too. There is a dock down the little hill that we were welcome to use to swim off of when we wanted . The owners are very nice and helpful, and respect their guests privacy. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location and water views

Convenient location 25 minutes from Peggy’s Cove and 7 minutes from shopping and an express bus to Halifax. Access to the unit is a little tricky with a steep driveway and an outdoor staircase. Excellent water views. The unit was reasonably well- stocked but could use better ventilation and window curtains.

Seals playing games with us!

It was a very nice property. Loved kayaking and looking at the seals as they were spying on us. The only thing I would suggest is you replace the pillows on the bed. Other than that everything was good.

Best Hosts Ever!

The property was amazing, the views were stunning and peaceful and the hosts were fabulous!!! What a getaway. We could not have asked for a better situation. The weather wasn't always perfext but that doesn't matter when you have a great space and wonderful hosts :) We saw seals, blue herons and were only a short drive from Halifax. Chris and Stephanie were very helpful and provided us with everything we needed, even lent us their pot and burner to boil our own lobsters outside! Many thanks to our friendly, accomodating hosts!

View was beautiful

The view and location was nice but the beds sucked and the noise from the landlords above the unit at night made it hard to sleep. Knowing now that it’s not separate from the landlords would not rent again. Hide a bed where my son sleep r all spring it’s very uncomfortable shower wont drain properly it’s clog both mattress from hide a bed and bed it self need to be replaced

Nice but LOUD

The property itself was nice, however it is a walkout basement, which we were unaware at time of booking. There was constant noise from foot traffic from the family upstairs which made our stay less peaceful than desired. The unit itself was nice and had most amenities required, although no oven. Nice shower and bed was comfortable. Hosts were unobtrusive and friendly, but you definitely felt their presence as noted above. Would not stay again due to the noise.

well located for south shore stay

This rental provides a private, well located place for a short term visit. Access to the unit is by stairs to the back of the main house located on a hill with a lovely water view. The kitchen facilities are somewhat limited but adequate, especially for those out sightseeing most of the time. Aside from noise from those living upstairs over the unit, it is a very comfortable place to stay.

Head of St Margarets bay vacation

The property is beautiful and in an amazing location! Relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the ocean after a long day on the go was perfect. The house is very nicely done and very clean. The property owners were very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to stay there again on a future trip.

Quel magnifique endroit

Chris et Stéphanie ont été des hôtes merveilleux. Nous avions tout ce que nous désirions. En plus du logement très bien situé, nous avions accès à deux kayaks et même à des cannes à pêche😁 Le logement était très propre et même s’il n’y avait qu’une chambre, nous avions assez d’espace avec nos deux enfants😊 Le spa était toujours bien apprécié en soirée 😁
