"This hotel was too far away from the city. Originally I didn’t think that was an issue, however on the first day, a taxi driver charged us 1200 reales from the bus station to the hotel. Complete rip off! This made us concerned about the amount of money we would be spending on transportation to and from the hotel daily.
The bedding was horrible. Hard mattress, pillows and two flat sheets.
It was not the cleanest. The breakfast buffet had flies around the food.

"Foi uma grata surpresa, já tinha passado vários carnavais em Cabo Frio mas esta foi a melhor na pousada portal do Mar. A pousada A Marca do Faraó cancelou nossa reserva por overbook. A pousada super familiar, tranquilo e o pessoal super atencioso e educado. O único ponto que achei que poderia melhorar é mais acessibilidade para pessoas com idade e cadeirantes, pois as estadias são do segundo andar em diante e só tem escadas o que impossibilidade dependendo do caso. "

"Breakfast was only coffee with milk, some old bread, old cheese, papaias and bananas. Many kids at the pool yelling early in the morning. Staff rude and not helpfull. "
