"This was one of the best Inn's I've stayed at. The staff went above and beyond to be welcoming and friendly. The room was perfect, clean, bright and exactly as in the photos. The common areas were so inviting, there was outdoor garden spaces, indoor spaces with comfy seating for curling up with a book. The breakfast was amazing with many choices. I would highly recommend and I'm already try to plan another trip there."

"Nice country pub with a cozy atmosphere. Our room was great, really clean and well presented, comfy bed and pillows, en-suite bathroom with a good shower and a decent size. Owners provided a fan which was very welcome during this current heatwave. We were greeted by Jacob in reception, really helpful, polite and respectful and he showed us to our room. "We had a gorgeous stay at Bridge Cottage, such a welcome pitstop if you're walking the South Downs Way or visiting the local area. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, Miranda is a wonderful host and the location is perfect to enjoy some of the local pubs. We'd highly recommend and will be back! "
