"All of the staff especially Maggie made my stay very comfortable. As a young traveler Maggie gave advice, safety tips, and fun activities. Whenever there was a transportation concern Maggie was right on top of it with solutions. The free coffee in the morning was a cherry on top. And the safety in a city was astonishing. "We really enjoyed our stay. We are a family of four and we had the two bedroom apartment off the pool. The rooms have a rustic tropical vibe that is minimalist and clean. We did not try to cook so I can’t speak to those supplies. Linens were comfortable. Bathroom was pretty spacious actually for a small rental. Air conditioner worked well and the temperature was always comfortable. Pool was wonderful - kept quite clean and never too busy. We had a patio off the pool with a large spacious table and bench. We had the breakfast included option and it did not disappoint! They wait for you to wake up and come outside to the patio, where they’ve already set your table. The breakfasts were so good - cooked on the spot and lots of local traditional foods with local fruits and fresh smoothies. Definitely recommend! The hotel is on the small side, which gives it a very personal feel. It was like our own little private oasis in the heart of the town. Very walkable. A small group of staff were very kind and professional and helped whenever you needed anything. I would definitely stay again. Wifi is spotty, fyi"

"Property is situated at the top of the hill in tamarindo overseeing the beach from room balcony. While the hotel is not closer to town / beach, they have shuttles that would take you to the town and to another beach front resort where you can lounge, chill and enjoy the beach. Overall good place to stay! "
