"We arrived at the guest house after booking through Expedia to stay, when we arrived there had been a mishap with our booking and they were unaware of us staying. The owner and who seemed to be his father started talking about us in Sinhalese and saying some pretty rude stuff about myself and my girlfriend. "Had high expectations after reading the other reviews and spending almost $1K for two nights here but was disappointed overall. The beach access was nice and the highlight of our stay. Staff was a bit slow and not very helpful and food was ridiculously expensive and nothing special. There are other cheaper options nearby which are worth a look."
