Shangri-La Far Eastern, Taipei
Beautiful large room. Excellent staff in the Horizon Lounge. Great service in Li Bai and the lobby lounge. The international buffet at the Cafe was a bit of a bun fight with the locals, although the food itself was good.

Eastin Taipei Hotel
The AC in our room was great to cool off after a long day out exploring Taipei. The laundry service was also very good because the washers and dryers operate by coins, which is very convenient.

Park Taipei Hotel
The location is great, being right by the R rail is super convenient. Another The second floor lounge offers self-service coffee and tea bar and it’s a very nice and clean place to relax.

The Howard Plaza Hotel Taipei
Breakfast was very good. Room was dated but large. They were refurbishing the hotel when we were there, but we got an older room. Location was a bit far from train stations, but cabs are very affordable, so it didn’t matter. Overall a solid option for a family of 4 for a few days in Taipei.
