"Solaria was in the heart of the Ximen walking district and a few blocks from the MTR. The hotel was clean, staff was helpful, and rooms were big enough to walk around but not super large. There are great restaurants onsite on the other side of the building and a restaurant on level 7 with a buffet. For the money you cannot beat it. I recommend this hotel!"

"Our initial flight in to Taipei was cancelled and pushed back 24 hours, but the hotel staff worked with us to get the first night refunded. Once we got in, we were greeted by friendly staff, a huge array of ramen, snacks, and beverages, and a very clean and cozy room right next to an excellent shopping and food scene in Ximen as well as convenient public transit throughout the city. The hotel has a fun personality that we really appreciated, highly recommend Roaders for a central location in Taipei and a comfortable place to sleep."

"We stayed there for at least 8 nights and were satisfied with the cleanliness, spacious room, accommodating towards leaving our luggage there after checkout. If I were to return to taipei, I'll highly likely return to this same hotel. Proximity to train station was convenient. There were many shops to explore and a whole underground mall spanning many shops..totally walkable at leisure. You just need to figure out which exits makes most sense to you and which exits are closed for the night to figure out what works best. The exit via lift between Z2 and Z4 works well for me. Also, the one through U Square links well but not with luggage due to stairs."
