We loved our Stay at Tahoe City. It is small and quiet, compared with South Lake Tahoe, but that is what we like. Everything is easily accessible, parking was easy and the main strip is all walkable. Additionally, lake access was convenient.

If you're wanting to fish, you aren't allowed to fish on any of the peirs. Some are public friendly! Had to travel to Donner lake to access peirs to fish! We tried fishing off the shores but we kept getting stuck in the rocks!

Peppertree Inn was situated right near the lake, which was a bonus during our extended wait time to check-in. We enjoyed the people, food, and shopping experience. We will definitely be returning to Tahoe City!

"Enjoyed my weekend trip to Tahoe City. The location was great, after a full day out at the lake. Check in was quick, friendly. Once settled in my room walked the strip that has many options for dinner an shopping. Room was comfortable an at night it was very quiet. Check out was very simple with phenomenal service. The location is perfect (super close to Garwoods, easy access to Kings Beach and Tahoe City.) "We loved this house so much last year that we booked it again! The house was spacious and comfortable for our family to both be together and have our own space. Direct lake access is priceless!
