Sunny Daze at Dollar Point is a light and bright vacation home that exudes a feeling of relaxation as soon as you step inside. The white washed wood and lake house decor create a welcoming atmosphere that is perfect for a vacation getaway.

The main level features a cozy living area with comfortable seating centered around a real wood fireplace and flat screen television. In the summer, the living area expands outdoors with the wrap around deck facing the lake, complete with outdoor dining set and BBQ. The adjacent kitchen features a breakfast bar and dining area, perfect for easy socialization. Two comfortable guest bedrooms and a full bath complete this floor.

The upper level features the Master suite, with a King bed, television, and an ensuite bath with jetted tub. An upstairs loft serves as an office, ideal for those needing to connect remotely to work or school. The loft also has a queen size sofa sleeper, making it versatile and accommodating all types of group configurations. The third full bathroom is also located on the second floor.

The location is ideal for the adventure-minded, with easy access to bike paths, Tahoe City, ski resorts, and numerous trailheads. The proximity to Skylandia public beach, a local favorite, makes it perfect for those who want to enjoy all that Tahoe has to offer. Wonderful stay at the house my family owned for many years in the 80s & 90s. Not much had changed which was very pleasant however house needed a little attention. Overall great stay!

The place was clean and comfortable. We only made coffee in the kitchen so I can't speak to to how well the kitchen is stocked.

Our group of 8 stayed here to access the ski resorts. We were impressed with how well-stocked the kitchen was with equipment! We also loved the three full bathrooms and cozy upstairs office/living nook. Would definitely stay again!

Nice accomodations. Comfortable house with most everything we needed. Internet connection was spotty the last 2 days and that was difficult when my kids were doing their distance learning classes. The outside of the house is in need of some paint and some repair on the wood, but we really enjoyed our time there. Thanks so much!!! The Segat Family

While you are a super host this place fell far below standards of other super host places we have stayed. The multiple stains on the carpet in the common area were disgusting (appeared more likely to be animal rather than mineral) and the kitchen sink was a mess. The deck also needs to be refinished. There were other minor issues but those were the main reasons why the house did not live up to its booking.

Had a very nice stay. Sliding shower doors need fixing as almost come off tracks when trying to slide them. Could have provided kleenex boxes. Didn't see instructions for opening garage. Thank you.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are from NYC, rented the house via Arbnb to visit Lake Tahoe on our Cali road trip. It was so difficult to choose a location without ever being in the area. Unfortunately the house location was disappointing: nothing is in walking distance. The house is not on the lake and far from major tourists points of interests. The close by Skyland park and beach is a joke. I wish I rented in Tahoe Vista or Kings Beach. Another thing: the house is dated, especially it’s kitchen. The deck was dirty and the grill was disgusting. On the positive side: the house was functional with all a family would need for cooking and sleeping.
