"The beach bungalow that we had, was really cosy and provided a very special vibe and privacy. The construction with bamboo, wood and a high roof with reed, as well as all other materials used created a warm feeling. The setup of the rooms is perfect and also provided enough space to place your things and stay well organized. The Breakfast-Buffet was nice and offered a lot of varieties of food for any kind of taste. The food in the 2 restaurants was good, the service as well. We had a joyfull and relaxing time, and our expectations to the 4-star rating were mostly fulfilled."

"Clean and well maintained. Pool was very nice and clean. Staff was very helpful although there was some miscommunication. We had accidentally left a document at reception and staff member gave it to another party, assuming that we knew each other simply because of our skin color ! We are from totally different countries and do not speak the same language. Never got our document back."

"Beautiful property especially over water bungalows. The staff were very attentive, helpful, friendly and gracious. Everyone from the breakfast staff to the dinner staff were so nice. The water sports team was so nice, one gentleman who competes in the outrigger team accompanied me on my 1st outrigger ride to show me the ropes. The buffet breakfast and French restaurant were delicious. The pool, water sports, restaurants, reef rebuilds are amazing parts of this resort. I would definitely highly recommend this place and go back but after the construction is complete. There was a lot of construction on the property, which was not mentioned prior on the Expedia website, which was disappointing. You will hear saws, drills and hammers in the distant. Also, construction teams will ride by your over the water bungalows around 8:15- 8:30am, during the day and 4:15-4:30pm. They try to stay a bit further out in distance vs the bungalows. I wished this was disclosed on Expedia’s website."

EDEN - Private Island - TAHA'A

"My wife and I stayed 4-nights in the Sunrise Premium Bungalow (2 bedrooms), Huahine View room. The room and view were excellent, right on the water, you could swim from our room. There are only 6 bungalows on the entire island. Very private, quiet , and you can see loads of stars at night. The staff at the was was excellent. Alexandra who handled our booking was very efficient in responding to emails. The boat captain, Solo met us at the Raiatea airport for our 35 minute transfer trip to the island. The receptionist: Solenn met us at our arrival to Eden Island and was an excellent host during our entire stay (very professional). We chose the half board meal package. The chef, Fabrice cooked all meals to order and was able to adjust to our culinary needs. We never went hungry. Beer was cold. The room was very clean and the sliding glass doors overlooked the ocean and reef. There is a nice deck around the outside of the room. Very easy to kayak and snorkel around the island. The ocean water is very clear and warm. Highly recommend this hotel."
