"Stay was overall very good. Only 10 minutes from the main street in Mystic, room was clean, huge and the bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint was that the whole place smelled like mothballs and the handsoap had been watered down instead of being replaced with liquid soap. The mothball smell wasnt noticeable after 15 minutes, so it wasn't too bad. I'd also suggest having a sign at the road. I went down the wrong driveway initially."

"This over-garage apartment was beautifully appointed and incredibly comfortable. Walk out the door and you are at the private beach in less than 2 minutes. Lovely water views from the living room. The host had so many thoughtful extras like beach towels and sand toys, water bottles in the refrigerator, etc. We wojle absolutely recommend."

"Enchanting week staying at the Smith Cottage with my partner and canine old boy. Immaculate is an understatement for the cottage-it was beautiful, cozy and it is mind-boggling to me just how attentive, intuitive and thoughtful our host Debbie is. I cannot wait to return next September. Everything both inside and outside this property was great, including the beautiful fire pit under the harvest moon at night. Thank you Debbie, for a much needed wonderful stay. "

"This place was horrible. When we arrived the cleaning/maintenance people were outside having a screaming match. There were mouse droppings in the cabinets with the dishes. There were acorns on the couch. One of the queen size beds were broken and unable to be slept in. There was supposed to be a pull out couch which in fact was a blow up mattress. "We just rented this beautiful waterfront compound with a main house and four small cottages, and it was fantastic. With kayaks and SUPs available, our group of 16 had a blast on the water. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and caught bluefish and small striped bass, thanks to the fishing gear provided by Louie, the helpful manager who also supplied firewood for our fire pit. "We loved our stay at this beautiful historic house in Mystic, located within close walking distance to the main street and river. Beds were comfortable and furnishings simple, historic, and tasteful. Be aware if you have mobility issues that, being a 150+ year old house, the floors are quite undulating!
