"This is a very pretty hotel in a charming town. Make sure you get the water facing room with Balcony. Absolutely breathtaking views! But the most awesome part of this Hotel is : THE STAFF. I booked an ordinary room because it was cheaper, but when I walked in and saw the views I was missing, I asked if I could be upgraded to a room with the views and they moved me without charging anything. My wife left her Apple watch in the room after we checked out. The hotel didn't only email me that they found the Watch during room cleaning, but they literally shipped it to the United States WITHOUT CHARGING ME A DIME!! Just think about that!! I was willing to pay whatever it took them to ship the watch, but they didn't charge me anything!! Special Thanks to Ivan Lucic. You are a gentleman Sir! If you are passing by the area and looking to stay the night, do not think twice and book this gem of a place. Would stay here in a heartbeat if I am in the area again!"

"The hotel is well located in the center of everything. The included breakfast was extensive and excellent. Check in was easy, and I was easily able to add a person to an existing reservation. Parking, while not included was easy with parking garage next door. Nice views from restaurant."

"The excellent service from all staff. Based on our interests Ole the owner worked out itineraries for us which we found very helpful. The food was delicious and we recommend the Viking experience dinner. This was held in their Viking Hall. The room, including the bed was comfortable with a large relaxing common lounge area just outside our room. The views were mountainous with mist, with a verandah encircling the building. Blåtind was a few kms out of town and very peaceful. Best stay so far on our Norway holiday! "

"Alesund, Norway is absolutely picturesque! A Norwegian fairy tale of endless Fjords, majestic mountains and beauty beyond words. Our planned one night turned into three because we loved it so much! The scenic route from Geiranger to Trollstigen to see waterfalls, canyons, trolls & crystal clear glacier lakes is well worth the time—it’s a must to fully appreciate the beauty of the Fjords. Winding down at night with Sauna & Cold Plunging is just the Nordic way. Our stay at the Quality Hotel Waterfront Alesund was perfect. Great location, clean rooms, hospitable staff, excellent free full breakfast and I’ll say it again, every employee was SO nice, SO accommodating and that is not always the case these days. "

"Hotel 1904 is a very nice hotel. The hotel is in a beautiful old building but it is totally updated and renovated inside. It is in a great location. It is close to shops, restaurants and the ferry and bus stops."

"This is situated on a field and is absolutely spectacular surrounded by mountains. The property is appointed beautifully with large flower pots all over and the views are just amazing. The food in the restaurant was great, wonderful breakfast and great modern well appointed rooms. Would definitely recommend this as an A+ facility!"

"Very nice location and views from the hotel. Cozy interior and clean room. The blinds was however not working properly, but it was possible to get it completely dark anyways. The beds were falling apart from each other and the top mattress sided down during night, which was a bit annoying. Otherwise, we had a really good stay. Cozy and nice breakfast! "
