We struggled with directions to the property though and ended up lost walking around trying to find it for a hour with no response to messages or a phone call to Suzanne for help, so that was very frustrating. "The chalet could not have been better and Anita is a great host, willing to help wherever she can. The chalet is beautifully themed, with lovely touches that make all the difference. The location is a short drive (2min) or 20min walk to Grunt station, 25min to Grindelwald Terminal - so perfect for days out in the Jungfrau region. "We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The hosts were helpful and the home had all of the amenities needed. The beds are very comfortable and everything was clean and ready when we arrived. It was conveniently located for day trips and is located in a fun community with many options for restaurants and grocery stores. The home is on the Grindelwald side of the river, a short walk from "Terminal" (for train connections, and gondola to Kleine Scheidegg), and with a bus stop literally out the front door (with connections to the center of Grindelwald). "The photos of the property do not do it justice. It is FANTASTIC. We celebrated my 60th birthday with a trip to our beloved Grindelwald. My 86 year old dad traveled with us. We got a hotel by the train station (the Derby) at which we've enjoyed staying on previous trips. He would not have handled the 45 steps to Chalet M very well. "We used the Alpine Apartments for several nights during a bicycle tour. They had a safe, secure bike storage area in each building. Access to the bike path was easy, making trips into town for groceries quite fast. Also close to the train station. Apartments are like new, with a nice kitchen, clothes washing machine, heated drying rack, dishwasher, and large refrigerator. "
