"The room was really clean, a bit small but really nice. Parking was easy, within a few minutes walk from hotel. Kim was lovely, she made us feel really welcome. Its a shame that they dont do breakfast anymore but we took cereal and also went to wetherspoon which was just down the road. We had a fabulous 3 days."

"Didn’t even end up staying here as after I booked and rang them to find the exact location of the hotel, they told me they didn’t have space and re-directed me a 20 minute walk to another property that was not acceptable at all. When I asked to be refunded or have my booking cancelled, they told me it wasn’t something they could do as Hotels.com needed to do. "There are a number of rooms above the pub. Stayed for one night and would stay again for one night. Close to the Barbican, had a single room with ensuite. The shower was lovely, only having a hand towel less so. The room was very warm and a fan was provided but you had to decide between quiet and sweaty. Breakfast was included and there was an extensive menu. Just a bit mixed - good for a night, couldn't see myself staying there for longer."
