"I decided to save a little money on my trip to London and book at a pod hotel. It was my first time staying in a pod. The building is conveniently located in Soho and just a 5 minute walk to the Tube & the Elizabeth line to Heathrow and a Tesco market right across the street. The area is super busy and lots to see. First impression was their staff, which was polite and very helpful. They have a nice lounge area and everything is very clean. Seems I was always seeing staff cleaning even in the middle of the night. As for the pod or nest as they call it...It was comfortable with a nice duvet. You are able to adjust lighting and temperature on your own to your liking. There is a ledge to hold a full size piece of luggage. The only downside is having to slide out in the middle of the night to go across the hall to use the bathroom. There wasn't a bunch of noise so very easy to sleep. WiFi worked well and was able to stream movies - there is no TV in the pods. Would I stay again - most definitely!"

Strand Palace Hotel

"Strand Palace was the perfect hotel for my solo trip to London! It was conveniently located, close to Covent Garden, National Gallery, tube, and Thames. The hotel is well maintained and very clean. My room was small but had all the amenities I needed (iron, soap/shampoo, lotion). Other things I liked: -Plenty of outlets, and even a US outlet - Water refill station on every floor -Comfy blanket -Can leave your luggage at hotel -Nice pressure in the showers The only hiccup was I stayed on the 7th floor and on several days the lift did not stop on my floor and I had to take the stairs."

"The clean staff were wonderful and all the staff would acknowledge you when they passed. Truly wonderful staff with the exception of the gentleman that checked us in and out. Everyone else was extremely pleasant and ready to assist. The gentleman that made our omelets on the weekend was amazing. We are Looking forward to booking the hotel on our next visit to London. Well Done!!!!"

"The smallest room I have ever stayed in and prices vary according to with or without window BUT the cleanliness, the helpful staff and the location compensated it. Perfect stay in a great neighbourhood and easy access to central London. Definitely a 10/10 for me."

"Bed was comfortable. Pillows were flat. Bedding, bath, toilet and sink were clean. Carpet was sticky and there were lots of dust and webs in every corner. TV was huge (which was great for the England game!) Air con was BRILLIANT! was 30 degrees when we visited so this was an added bonus! Location was great for where we needed to be. We used the uber boat and the shuttle boat a few times (shuttle free if you show them hotel booking). Breakfast was poor. No bacon, mushrooms or tomatoes. Staff on the desk when checking in were rude, sharp and seemed like they really didn't want to be there. All in all, the size of the TV and the aircon was worth every penny! we were only here for one night so didn't feel any need to complain or moan."
