"The stone cottage was perfect for 3 of us. We spent most of our days in Oxford, and this was lovely to come home to. Neat cafe up the road to grab breakfast and coffee from. Shops/restaurants/pubs are also nearby."

"A cosy cottage in quiet location. Perfect for visiting Whipsnade zoo and Harry Potter studios. Had everything we needed for a short stay. Only negative was the parking as it was difficult to find a space on the very narrow lanes."

"A very stylishly decorated and cosy, quiet retreat within a pretty village, a very short distance from the Oxford park and ride scheme at Thornhill. A treat to stay here. The owner provided some very helpful sightseeing tips, and left some thoughtful treats for us, including some Halloween chocolates on the doorstep for our teenagers on 31st Oct. The only downside was the heavy duty bolt on the OUTSIDE of the main bedroom door - not great for anyone of a claustrophobic disposition! Thanks again...

"We stayed here as a base for the Game Fair and it was a great location for that. We didn’t really explore the area much but we did get pizza from The Hertford which was good. There wasn’t any garden chairs and is it was lovely weather this was a bit amid a shame as the domino was in the courtyard a fair bit. The cottage was pretty, tidy, clean and cosy. No welcome package was a bit of a shame as this has become pretty standard for holiday cottages and the garden was overrun with bindweed...

"This lovely house is tucked away in a peaceful location surrounded by farmland. The rooms are large and comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. We enjoyed our (all too brief) stay immensely."

"Amazingly clean and comfortable, especially nice to sit in the kitchen by the Aga and play games. Loads of space for all the family to spread out and be together and possibly one of the best properties for dogs that we've been to; especially the garden - perfect for whippet zoomies! Victoria was on hand and very helpful whenever we needed. We will definitely consider coming back again!"

"we were re-imbursed the cleaning money. The property was disgusting. Hair in beds, foot particles on range, on kitchen floor and dinning area. The condition of the property was more in tune with a hostel rather than a house for a family. The list of things that need to be fixed is to long. From patio doors that didn't close to stair banister hanging off the wall. There was only 1/4 toilet roll in the house for two toilets. We had to wash the sheets before we could sleep in the beds."

"Quite the best property we have ever rented. Comfortable beds and everything in the kitchen one could possibly want for self-catering - and all looking wonderfully hygienic and spotless. Three good bathrooms, including one with shower for the disabled. We were blessed with good weather for sitting in the wonderful garden."

"This was a fantastic few days away. Property is small, but perfectly suited for me and my mum. Very clean, modern. Comfortable bed and couch. Location was fantastic. Rural but great pubs and cafes close by (and a Sainsburys local!) We loved all the footpaths all over. Dog was even happier. Plan on going back!"

"Very nice cottage in quiet village. Evie is a great host and came right over to fix the TV and bring us a few items that the cleaner had missed. The cottage is very comfortable and has a lovely back garden. It was chilly while we were there so we liked being able to sit in the glassed in area of the kitchen. The cottage is surrounded by other cottages/houses as is probably common in these small English villages. It's about a 15 minute drive to the park and ride to get into Oxford. Evie gave us...

"Amazing value given the history of the building and the location cannot be better for downtown Luton. Great to have facilities like tea and coffee, and breakfast was from a small but essential selection. Room were nice, using a fan rather than air conditioning. Which was ok. "
