"Our trip to this hotel was overall a pleasant experience, however a couple of items regarding this hotel need to be addressed. 1. The carpets areceorn and dirty, they need changing or at the very least cleaning. 2. The hot water in the shower takes too long to heat up (approximately a minutes) 3. "Set in a lovely quiet location but still only 30 seconds from the main road. The hosts Cynthia and Brian are lovely and interesting people, always chatty and helpful with any questions about where to visit in the area. Our room, ‘Lyonness’; was very large with a lovely bathroom. Modern and tastefully decorated. We had a lovely 4 night stay and the full breakfast was always freshly cooked and excellent. Highly recommended."

"Gorgeous cottage with lots of character, low ceilings in areas but you soon learnt to dodge. All part of the character. Stair banister rail stunning character made from drift wood. All rooms on suite so no fighting over bathrooms and a jacuzzi bath downstairs. The owners were very welcoming and full book with instructions on arrival. As well as lots of ideas of places to visit. Fresh milk in the fridge on arrival and the added dry herbs etc in the kitchen added to the homely feel for the week....
