"This is one of the best places we have stayed on our travels. It is an old thatched cottage style pub resplendent with some lovely original features. Walking in from the car park we loved the wisteria hung entranceway with outdoor tables and chairs. Our room was spacious with a good sized bathroom. It was clean and comfortable. I must admit if you sleep with the window open the road outside may disturb you but we kept it closed. We ate in the restaurant on the night of our stay and breakfast...

"What a fantastic stay! Tess and Jay were extremely welcoming and accommodating from the moment of booking - even calling to check if we wanted dinner. They were flexible with our early check-in and changing our dinner reservation too. The room was beautifully presented with everything we could need for our stay, including fresh milk for our morning drinks. The bed was very comfortable and everything was really clean. "It’s a bit hard to judge because I was there just for sleep for a few hours. Great welcome by staff. Quirky room but clean, comfortable, tv, bar snacks and most important a good stay. I like quirky so enjoyed the room! So 7/10."
