"Bigger bars of soap that are easier to handle. Quieter air conditioner and heater. Max temp on heater was 78 degrees. Enjoyed king bed. There was no microwave in the room. Better coffee maker would be nice. Price for water and chips are very high. Deposit was steep and indefinite refund is perplexing!"

"This is a largely clean and well-kept hotel in Old Pasadena. Its close to many restaurants and other attractions. The room we got was nice, spacious, clean and comfortable. The parking lot is OK - the stair well was not well maintained. There's also a daily $40 fee to park your car in the parking structure. Given how much the rooms already cost, I feel is too much. The parking structure is nothing special; average; not entirely secure. Anyone can enter the parking structure from the street. Breakfast is not included. There is a bar; looks nice, we didn't use it. The staff was nice and welcoming. I'd stay there again."

"We stayed here because of its close proximity to universal studios and truthfully if that’s what you’re planning on doing then it’s perfect. The rooms are spacious especially if you’re traveling with a decent amount of luggage or kids. The room was clean but did smell a bit of chlorine. I never walk barefoot in hotel rooms but wouldn't on that carpet. It looks like it could use a good deep clean, however, the room/linens were clean and free of dirt and hair. It’s very easy to walk (less than 5 mins) to universal and they also have a shuttle that runs to and from park if you prefer that. There’s food on property and a store that has tons of drinks/snacks/essentials. Overall, great for a hotel close to universal that is clean. Not luxury by any means but clean and close."

"Had a great experience at Western Bonaventure! The staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout my visit. The property is beautiful, and the view of downtown Los Angeles is absolutely amazing, especially at night. Highly recommend!"
