"I have been here multiple times and love it- it’s my preferred hotel in the Charleston area. It’s the only real resort. "

"This hotel was amazing. The room was cool, quiet and clean. The bathroom had some amazing citrus shampoo, conditioner and lotion. There is a small pond by the hotel that had a sign warning people of possible alligators. The breakfast was great! They had bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage, grits, cereal, muffins, fresh fruit, waffle makers, yogurt, bagels and more. Breakfast is on the second floor and can be crowded, so we ate in our room. We did find a small bullfrog in the hallway but we just realized him back outside. Staff was friendly and welcoming. This hotel was very close to the Yorktown and sullivans island. Sullivans island is the only beach that does NOT require payment to park for the day. Folly beach and Isle of the Palms cost at least $25 to park. "
