"Great bed and breakfast. Feels like you’re walking into the past with all the historical furniture but with all the modern convenience. Breakfast was phenomenal as other comments have stated. All day coffee and afternoon refreshments were a plus after getting back from some long hikes. The host was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely come back. "The property is rustic but nice. There is a bathroom with shower on 1st and 2nd floor but the water pressure in the house does not sustain use of both at the same time. The main kitchen refrigerator was not working during our stay. There are minifridges on the 2nd and 3rd floor but it would have been nice to have working main floor fridge."

"Normally my wife and I are not big bed and breakfast people. However, Harbour Cottage had some of the best reviews in the Acadia National Park area. We gave it a try and we are so glad we did. The Inn Keeper, Arlo, was very helpful with advice on trails. The Owner, Don, was friendly and helpful with tour and restaurant recommendations. The Inn is located on the "quiet side" of the island, which was a blessing for us because we were able to avoid the bustle of Bar Harbor in the mornings and...
