"The house was wonderful. Very a huge living room with soaring ceilings and a great view of the ocean. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and baking with spices and plenty of mixing bowls, lobster pot, cookie sheets. Beds and couches were very comfortable and seem relatively new. "

"The cottage was amazing. We enjoyed the location and it was absolutely perfect lodging for my family. We spent every night at the secluded fire pit. It was a great way to end our jam packed days. We would definitely go back."

"We stayed here to visit Acadia and other coastal towns and it was a great central location! The cabin was very comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay here again! "

"This was a very nice place to stay. Quiet and comfortable. Our communication with the host was excellent. The WiFi wasn’t great. Our connection would be dropped frequently, which was annoying when we tried to use the smart TV and our devices."

"Great, quiet cabin. Cool breeze almost constantly. Truly enjoyed it."

"This quaint stay was everything we needed for our trip to MDI. Becka was a wonderful host (as was her angelic dog, Cayenne), and we loved the rustic setting. The rental was well and thoughtfully stocked. The outdoor shower was so enjoyable, serenaded by the nearby apiary. Even the early bird rooster made us laugh. Would happily stay again."

"If you want a peaceful beautiful setting that is close to a lot of attractions this is your place. It’s like going to your grandparents lake house. Nothing fancy but comfortable clean and cozy. Love the history of the place. We like to do attractions put not be in the chaos"

"Very friendly restaurant staff, easy check in, private, very quiet, comfortable cabin. Excellent Mexican takeout in Millbridge and wonderful beaches and hiking trails around Machias. Great time to buy wild blueberries and enjoy the stark beauty of the barrens. Would visit again!"

"Quiet and Secluded. We had a great time sitting around the fire, great memories, very clean, The kids had a great time. The top bunk mattress was fine for my 8 year old but would have been a bit stiff for me. My older son slept on the futon he loved it. Plenty of towels, The water heater is a small one but we could each get nice hot showers if we waited a bit between. It would reheat quickly for the next shower. "

"Great rustic lodging. Helpful and friendly host. Beautiful area and close to many hiking trails in parks and preserves. Highly recommended if you want simple, rustic lodging with comfortable accommodations (nice bed, everything needed for a compact kitchen to prepare meals, and nice picnic table for eating outdoors). "
