"personally for me, staying here is exactly what you pay for, it's quiet and the staff are newer, they are all extremely kind and a welcoming, I had absolutely no issues staying here with friends! the rooms are nice and, the bed is comfortable and everyone sort of keeps to themselves! when our tv was broken the staff offered us a new room, free of charge. we didn't take it only because we were there a night or so but i've stayed here a few times and i've really enjoyed staying here. I feel safe here! I would recommend to anyone who needs a place to stay in bellingham! Keep up the great work and i see the work they are putting into it to make it a better place to stay, the effort is there regardless of the other reviews being so harsh, very much enjoyed!! will stay again! thank you!!"

"Well kept property and friendly, helpful staff. King size room was roomy and very comfortable. Free breakfast had many choices and was very good. Loved the 24 hour coffee and lemon infused ice water!"

"We were able to visit family and enjoy this hotel. We swam in the pool, had everything we needed, and were very comfortable. We forgot our kid's tablet and headphones in the room and checked out and the staff informed us right away. We were able to retrieve the tablet and get back on the road. We are thankful and appreciative of this hotel and its staff!"

"We've been coming to semiahmoo for many years, but sadly this latest trip was less than perfect. The place seemed in disarray, and while dining options have always been limited, this trip was especially challenging. The first night we couldn't get a table as we checked in after 7 pm, so we dined on scores and Pringle from the front desk, the next night we waited over an hour and then another 20 min. To get bread and drinks after we were seated. Seems like many of the guests opted for dominos delivery, with empty pizza boxes just piling up in the trash cans on the terrace. The whole place looks like it hasn't been painted in years. And then on the third day the power went out.. Still a stunning location and scenery, and the staff was super nice and always apologetic, trying to make things work. But we left felling sad for the place, with many fine memories over the years, not sure if we'll be back again."

"This was a comfortable room in a very well kept place full of friendly employees. We had an awesome view of the bay. Food was pricey but delicious, and service was great. There's frequent trains that go by, but they don't use their horns in this area. I was quite pleased with the railfan opportunities, and it didn't bother us in the least. If it has been an issue, I could have used the earplugs they provide in the room. Parking was touch and go, and at the mercy of what was open on the street or in the small parking garage. Not the best parking situation, but it didn't sway my opinion about the inn."
