Restaurant offered good classic italian food at sensible prices. Breakfast fantastic italian inspired dishes which were well presented and a welcome change from the usual predictable offerings. Staff were well trained and pleasant. "

"It is easy to find and a good car part. From there it just got better. There was a lively welcome as we entered the bar and very efficient check in. The room was very new well looked after. We had dinner in the carvery and then worked on our laptops in the bar afterwards. The bed was very comfortable, strange for a hotel I find, and slept very well. The only downside is the hot water in the shower does take an age to arrive but once it does, there is plenty of it. We will return."

The rooms are thoughtfully furnished, very clean and with quality toiletries.
We ate here too, it was no problem to set up a table outside for us, the food was fantastic!

"The house is maintained perfectly. Everything inside is in top order. We loved staying in it every minute, even if the weather was not at its best. The heating, the kitchen the beds etc. all was first class. The Landlady was very helpful and positive and we enjoyed staying in Ripon.We only can recommend this place to anyone interested."
