"The lodge was perfect for 2 couples and a great base for walking in the Peak District. The lodge its self was clean and cosy and had the bonus of the hot tub to sooth achy limbs! Check in was very simple and secure & communication with the manager was fantastic and very prompt. There is a great pub 15 mins walk from the lodge The Plough Inn, which server great food , I would recommend booking to eat there as it was very busy. "We loved our stay in this beautiful hotel, the staff were super attentive and made us feel so welcome, wish we could've stayed longer! Only slight gripes would be the room, although beautifully furnished, it was on the small side and the check in process was lengthy due to everybody checking in at the same time but as I said these are minor things and wouldn't put us off another stay.
