"I was a little bit skeptical at first: the property is reached by a one lane road, off a small two lane road, off a regional road. Typical Scotland. Yet, once there, it was magnificent. The cottage was adjacent to two cottages and next to small bio domes which seemed interesting to stay also. Our cottage was very spacious, clean, airy, great kitchen and despite its perceived isolation had all possible amenities. Very nice host who welcomed us with a bottle of wine. It was beautiful to wake up and walk around the property surrounded by beautiful and quiet scenery. I was expecting a flock of sheep to come by anytime. Despite its isolation, the property is in fact only 5/10 minute by car to Dunkeld where one can find all the amenties, restaurants, pubs, etc. Next time, I will stay one week."

"We loved it! It was so classy and regal and elegant. It is an amazing old mansion that has been converted into a hotel and modernized in very tasteful ways. It is on a large beautiful property along the river. On the property they also have the largest clay pigeon shooting range in the country I believe. And they also offer fishing and ATV riding. There's a great restaurant with awesome dinners that also serves the breakfast. They also have a spa and a large pool and a gym and dry and wet saunas. It was such a relaxing place to hang out and a great location with a lot of cute towns and things to do nearby. You can just feel the age of this place when you walk around. Even the trees are big and old. We had such a good time."

"Our lovely hosts have exquisite taste. Every room was beautifully decorated, and the grounds are lush and green. The house is on a small hill with extraordinary views. Breakfast was delicious! We had our first taste of haggis. The town of Pitlochry is a gem. Easy walk to the train station as well. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. "
