"The hotel is located in a convenient area. It seems to need some remodel love but appears to be getting some. There was roof maintenance outside of our room.
There was instant hot water- a treat. There was a lovely river walk nearby and the petrol station half a block away had a washer/dryer for 24 hour service. Loved that. The beds were a bit springy but just for sleeping, linens were clean and the pillows were fluffy. The bar was nice, drinks were affordable and the food was above average...

"This hotel is so delightful! It’s a family run operation and they were just the loveliest people. The hotel is close to the main drag, and has nice common areas that you can choose to gather in in the evenings and play board games or chat with other guests."

"The Sweet Donside Cabins are a little piece of heaven in Scotland, everything we could possible need was provided, we stayed in the Little Love Nest and the way it was decorated was absolutely amazing the added touches of pictures and ornaments was second to none, Lizzie and Brent are amazing hosts. "We loved staying at the Leslie Castle. John & Nicole were great. We came by train and then planned to go by Uber to the Castle and found the one driver was on holiday. John & Nicole were so gracious to come and pick us up. Food was great. Nicole does a history of the castle after dinner each night which was so enjoyable and a tour of the castle. Our room was huge and we loved every minute of it. We walked to the little Hamlet of Leslie and met some of the locals. The weather was great...
"We were rented the family bedroom that had its own private bath, a double bed and three singles. It was a great place to stay. Huge kitchen for everyone and lots of seating. Parking was a bit tight."
"Beautiful property in an idyllic setting. Breakfast is a wonderful combination of husband-made marmalades, fresh fruit and perfectly cooked dishes. The hostess is beyond helpful, giving us a perfect itinerary that included an amazing nearby art hotel and a surprisingly interesting castle. We will stay here again!"
