"Room was clean. Beds were comfy. Lots of hot water. Shower was fully accessible. AC was adequate. We reserved an accessible king room with a microwave--THERE WASN'T ONE. We asked TWICE at the desk & were told they'd bring one. NEVER DID. As we were checking out & I mentioned it AGAIN, the manager insisted the staff never mentioned it to him. Also TV DID NOT HAVE A SIGNAL--SAME DEAL! We reported it TWICE, never got fixed & manager insisted no one ever mentioned it to him! They need to be more on top of that kind of thing."

"We loved our stay in the Love Shack near Piney Point. It’s a small, cozy retreat in a beautiful and rural part of Maryland. The place is very clean, comfortable, quiet, and the listing details are accurate. Owner Katie is extremely helpful and communicative. We hope to return some day."

"What a beautiful house with so much to do. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy doing many things, alone or all together. The pictures of the house are spot on. From swimming, fishing, boating, playing games, campfires, cookouts, pool and air hockey there wasn’t a lack of anything to do. Quiet walks were also enjoyed by many. The farmers market on Kings Highway was the best for fresh produce and fruit and the kids really enjoyed the play area and feeding the animals. Sitting on the back deck was so peaceful and relaxing and watching the cranes and seagulls in their habitat was educational. We were also lucky enough to see many eagles soaring and perching in the trees. Overall it was a great time for our family of 13 and we would certainly go back again."
Dock Access: Waterfront Studio in Colonial Beach!

"A great spot to stay for 2 couples on a weekend trip! We were able to enjoy the waterside access in our yard, the private beach access a few minutes away (we drove once and walked once), and we’re able to visit a number of the businesses suggested to us in the Welcome Book provided by our hosts! Excellent experience for our first visit and would certainly return!"
